The modem works fine as a fax modem, but despite the verbiage in the user manual: “You must have Call Waiting/Caller ID
(Type 2 Caller ID) service from your telephone company to use the modem’s Call Waiting/Caller ID feature,” be advised that per technical support, the modem does NOT support caller ID. They say “It has never had the capability to support caller ID.”
