Unfair assessment, Mr. Genius. Broadband isn’t available EVERYWHERE just yet, but we’re getting closer all the time. And sometimes the issue isn’t that broadband is totally unavailable but that options that do exist are prohibitively expensive.

some people have no selection of broadband.
in spite of government grants, the greedy phone companies only build high speed in the concentrated areas… not out in the boondocks
others are simply too poor for a broadband connection
