  1. You DO NOT have fax capability with cable or broadband, as you are not using a phone line, and that’s what fax requires. You would have to have the dialup connection to the regular phone line. And if you have Winfax, that’s great. When I had dialup, I used that. Now with broadband, I miss being able to fax things.

  2. You can fax from your computer using an online faxing service. With an online fax service, like MyFax, faxes are sent/received from your email account. You get your own fax number and you do not need to buy ANY hardware or software. All you need to sign up is an email account. If you’re interested take a look at http://www.myfax.com
