I live out in the country and am forced to use dialup internet. I want to set up wireless for my laptop, so that I do not have to set at my desk all of the time. Is it possible to set up wireless while using dialup internet? If so, do I have to buy a special kind of router or will any one do?
you cnt use dial up for wireless connection, its to slow of a speed to even think about doing it….get satellite wireless

Most routers are designed for broadband, not dialup. I do not know of such a product.

there is a way and i used to do it when i was on dial up. you need to buy a bluetooth pc card and a bluetooth external dial up modem, make sure they both have up to 100 meter range because the 10 meter one is no use. mine was made by zoom for both bits. that is the only way to go wireless with dial up. i have still kept my bits incase i am ever forced to use dial up again. any good pc shop should have them
