I recently had to reinstall windows xp due to malware. I have use Netzero as my ISP. My modem works fine, I qureied the modem. When my system was working, Netzero worked using AOL connectivity service. I don’t want to install AOL for that purpose, is there any way around this?
You may have installed the wrong software drivers for the modem. Test the modem in Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Communications -> Hyperterminal
