I have an emachine, running ME. I was getting a 630 error message so I got a new internal dialup modem. I am no longer getting the errror message, but I still can’t use the internet. I have a manual connection that says it connects, but I can’t open an browser windows. When I use my MSN connection, the little computers in the task bar come up, but when it tries to sign in it says it can’t find a connection to the internet. What’s wrong???
possible problems;
–modem driver old or broken (reinstall modem)
–modem devices conflict other devices
–u must install “enum” drivers
