hi, i have 2 pc’s on LAN, i am having a dialup connection in pc1& i want to access internet from this to other pc, can u plz tell me what are the things to be configure to access internet through dial up? plz give all the necessary steps

that is pretty easy to do. You need to use a ethernet cable (cat 5) to connect the two computers. Keep in mind that if you are not using a hub then you need to get a cable that is wired as a crossover and not the standard straight line connection. What I am saying is this: the cable has input and output wires all bundled together. Without a hub or a router you need to have the outputs on one end of the wire going to the inputs on the other end. You may have to go to somewhere and get the cable done up custom. It is not very expensive, probably about 15-30 bucks depending on how long it is.
Once you have your cable all you need to do is plug the two computers together. Then you go into the home networking wizard and choose the option for the computer with the modem to supply the internet connection to the other computer.
If you don’t want to get the custom wire you can just get a ethernet hub and plug the two computers into it. Put the computer with the internet connection into the plug for the internet connection and the other computer can go in the next spot. then you run the network wizard and it should work just fine.
