I’ve recently had to change to dial up bc my dad got caught using morpheus and weedshare or w.e. and our cable access got taken. So I’ve heard instead of using his computer to go online, I could plug my notebook into the phone jack in my room and access the internet there. How would I go about doing this, when I dont know my dad’s password to the Mercury onlink box? I know the dialup number and his username, if I need them. Personally I’m terrible with this kind of stuff.
You’ll need to configure Dial Up Networking on your computer – put in the phone number, login and password information. Once you’ve logged into the dial-up network, you can proceed as normal by opening your browser or email client.

without the password your going no where, i would just ask your dad for the password. since its fraud if you get it illgeally.
