While waiting for my broadband to come through I’m on dialup. Its connected fine, and at 50kbps, normal for dialup. But whenever I goto a page it won’t load it! It doesn’t even try, just comes up with not found straight away, but I click refresh and it works fine. Its really frustrating and quite bizzare. Never works first time, always works second time, whats up?
yeah that is wack and to slow dial is a thing of the past because technology has gotten so more technical and moves much faster now so yeah you have made a wise choice to upgrade have fun

Modern webpages are too much for dialup. Too many graphics and animations. Your browser is timing out while it’s waiting for the page to load. Try changing the time out period in Internet Options in your brower. Otherwise it’s broadband.
