yeah my dad has satellite and the download speed is definetly better but it did feel like dial up sometimes. go for cable or high speed or something

yea that is right , usually satellite internet is use only for companies that need only incoming information like the weather and traffic updates or things like that it its slower in uploding because you have to change the signal so the sattlite can interprete what you are sending.

It depends where one lives. I live in Florida and satellite was always offline because of the rain. I have had DSL for like 5 years and it was great until I moved then DSL got do slow. The towers were to far away. Then I got high speed thru comcast and I love it. Get away from Dial up!
