   You could open up IE-the browser and go to tool menu at the top. Then select Internet options and then go to the COnnection tab. In case you already have a connection set up, simply highlight that and go to properties. There at the bottom,click on Advanced and you get a place to type the ISP’s telephone number.
   In case you have NOT setup the Dial up connection, then contact your local ISP and get the settings and then from IE, going to Tool and Internet Options, Connections tab, you need to select Setup at the top right corner of the screen. You shall get a wizard and you need to foolow the instructions mentioned and choose the required fields and type the information given to you by your ISP. That should do it!!!

   make shur u have your telphone line in and thean go to your computer serch and typ in lan, and if u hane a aol disk they will find it for u if your using a ibm the conecthion is on rthe right side a apple is on the left a gayeway or dell and hp in in the back
