   set your status to “available”, everytine you sign in,uncheck the invisible box

   In preferences you find a connection tab. click on it and set to lan. I have had mine set incorrectly before but it has never prevented me from signing on.

   As for your invisibility problem, On logon there is a box to check to be automatically invisible when you sign on, uncheck it and when you sign on you will show as “available.
