    The only other factor that could adversely affect your line speed is the quality of the telephone line – if it crackles on voice calls, get a technician to fix it.

    ADSL 256Kbps average 40 to 50 seconds for 1 MB file
    ADSL 2 Mbps average 5 sec to 15 seconds. for 1 MB file.

    Try to use some web accelerator softaware if u can’t afford to upgrade to DSL. Plus try doing this setting in your browser(internet explorer) it may work & fast the speed of internet a little bit. Use FireFox instead of IE

    Go To tools > Internet Options > A Box Appear on which find a tab SETTINGS Click on it > Increase the size to 500 mb or as much as you want > Ok
