How fast is the internet on the new iphone. Is like the speed of dialup, slower/faster?

I heard it cost $200 to manufacture. For a $500 phone thats pretty good. Considering a $3000 TV cost around $350 to make.

iphone uses EDGE which should be around dialup speed maybe a little bit but no where near broadband speeds
itll depend on ur connection as well

It depends on your coverage area for AT&T. Some areas will have NO internet coverage no the iPhone. In bigger cities, like New York City, Chicago, San Diego, Miami, Houston, etc, it will be comparable to broadband. other places it will be in between, but almost defintely faster than dial-up 56k.

Like broadband when using wifi, dial-up when using EDGE.
