how to connect my desktop pc to a wireless laptop at home?.?

iam using win 98 os and its is intel celeron but my internal modem is fixed in the pci slot. it is connected through mtnl dialup (telephone). now i want my laptop to connect to pc and browse the net. how to do it ?

    If the laptop has a NIC installed, you can install another into the desktop and seet up internet connection sharing. Basically the desktop will serve as the main connection, and the NIC connection to the laptop will be the shared connection. Please note that if both are used at the same time, the desktop will take precedence. If you do not have a NIC in the laptop, you will need to get a PCMCIA adapter card. The desktop will work as the DHCP sever for the laptop. For more information please visit my site below and look under the Network Talk listing. To hook up a wireless connection your best bet is to use a wireless router. Linksys makes a good one that Wal-Mart carries for around $45.00 Hope this helps
