how to network 2 dialup modems?

basicly my want is i have a dreamcast with a dialup modem i want to plug that into my modem on my main pc which i can then bridge with my LAN to give the dreamcast a internet conection with out costing dial up fees, how would i go about doing this? is there a program i can use to emulate a dial tone on my computer?
A netowkring adaptor was made for the dreamcast how ever they cost £100 + as not very many were made im looking for a cheaper way tonetwork my internet and dreamcast

    You have to get the networking adapter for your dreamcast. If they didn’t make one you are sol. Once you get that you can purchase a crossover ethernet cable to bridge the two pcs together – then you’d be able to use your pc internet through lan with your dreamcast. Or if you have a hub with an open port you can use regular cat 5 cable to connect the two.
