u need to get dsl or comcast a high speed internet, i prefer dsl it’s only $15 and u can also use the phone and internet.vonage is good too, only 25 for phone and internet

I don’t use a dialup modem anymore, but I’m guessing it could be your modem and/or fax settings. You can check out the settings in Control Panel under Modem and Printers/Faxes.

change from dailup or you can call your isp that you are haveing this problem and they should be able to tell you how to fix it if they can’t fix it over there.

You will need a 2 way adaptor to plug into the wall socket [1 lead for Internet and 1 for phone] no settings to change.

There must be some kind of line problem there. I would call your isp and have them run a line test. Also call the local phone company to make sure there isn’t a problem in the physical line.
