the main factor is the service provider .if it provides
a good speed it does not effect speed of communication much ,though it is slower than broadband but it is workable.it can also b that it might not support the best quality of video confrencing or voice chat.also downloadin is a problem on a dial up connection.also attaching files is difficult and takes a lot of time.
but if u can invest som amount every month i would recomend u take broadband cuz dial up is a bit costly cuz it causes the phone to be engaged n hence increases the phone bill and hence the overall cost is basically same but broadband is much better in terms of both quality and price
