  2. Dialup is prone to frequent disconnects! Usually, dialup checks to see if there is internet activity and if it sees none for any length of time it will disconnect. An old trick I used was to run my outlook express and have it check my mail every 5 minutes.

    I’ve been using torrents for two years now, the big ones always take a long time.
