  3. yes its possible. if you’re talking about using someone else’s without permission, then it’s illegal. to access yours, you need a server program for whatever it is you want to access. (you also need to forward a port if youre behind a router. find out how at portforward.com)

  4. Using Linux, it is soo easy… shared systems, like in http://frostwire.com or, just ssh using ssl.

  5. yes it is possible through software programs like Access Remote PC 3.9 though i dont know about the broadband to dialup and dial up to broadband compatibility but the best eay of knowing that is to try it out urself

    Yes, if you are both running Windows XP pro, U can use Remote desktop or remote Assistance. If U R not running XP pro a program like PC anywhere will allow U to give remote access to your PC.

    It depends what you want to do to his computer.

    First of all, do you have this person’s permission to do what you want to do? If not that what you want to do is illegal and can land you in a lot of trouble.

    Data transfer between two computers is as fast as the slowest link, in your case, the dial-up.

    This means that what you want to do on his computer must not invoke lots of communication between your and his computer.

    Things like music and video file transfers are going to be a problem, You working on his PC can be ok, provided that you are not trying to view rapidly changing images on his computer.
