Modem multilinking?

Have a question about multilinking modems. My ISP can’t seem to figure out how to set up multilink access at their end for me to use. I can’t get DSL or cable…so I need some more speed.

Is it possible to use two different ISPs with an account at each? In the dialup properties, there is a place to allow a different phone number to be dialed per each modem, but I don’t see a place to enter separate login/pass for each modem.

Any ideas to get around this? Thanks.
BTW, I have Windows XP…two modems…two phone lines…etc.
If not…does anyone know an ISP that allows multilinking and knows how to do it?

  1. You can only connect to the internet through once source at a time.

Unfortunately, multiple ISPs wouldn’t help. Traffic would take one route or the other, as the ISPs wouldn’t be able to reform the two lines into one data stream as only 1 line is connected to them.

Multilinking only works if the systems at both ends are configured to accept this type of connection. You need to find an ISP that will allow multilink.
