modem problems… can u help??

well i got my computer (second hand) and i now want to put the internet on it. so i got a dialup isp (westnet) and all it said was ‘no dial tone’ i troubleshooted it … stil not fixed..plz help???????

This means that you have not plugged in the telephone wire into the port of the modem. When you want to dial up u need to plug in the phone line

double click in the network connecion and fill the number ip is empty from ip modem
