   Without further information, the best I can offer you is to check the settings on your modem or network card. Uninstall and reinstall these devices if possible.

   you aren’t to run 2 kinds of virus protecters at the same time uninstall 1.

   - unplug the modem…. wait 5 secs …. plug it in
   - Restart your computer
   - Maybe your Service provider’s servers are down…

   click start then run
   type services.msc
   press ok
   ensure that network connections and remote procedure call (rpc) are started
   if not right click and start
   then attempt to reconfigure your connection.

   if they don’t start then search the microsoft knowledge base for a solution or use system restore to go back to an earlier system date.

   System Restore can be found in start->programs->accessories->system tools->system restore
