are you on cable or DSL? If DSL, then go to your modem setup page (maybe 192.168.1.1) and go into the firewall option. Then just turn it to off. I had the same problem. Click save changes and everything should work fine. I don’t know how to turn a cabe firewall off, but I know it is possible…..
What sites?
What is your Dialup ISP?
What is your Broadband ISP?
FYI: for the above cable firewall Q?
I have cable and there should be no firewall as such.. It will be the normal windows firewall. Cable act as a bridge rather than router 99% of the time.
