What company has reliable 56k dialup service?

I know dialup sucks but my Mom is in one of those few areas that still doesn't have DSL. She currently has ATT Dialup but can only connect at 28.8 bps. and ATT claims there is nothing faster than that for dialup. Nothing like being lied to….LOL

Anyways, I was looking at some ISPs and was wondering if US Netizen is good or if anyone has any other suggestions.

    Most time the dial-up speed is determined by the modem capabilities. All dial-up that I know of are capable of 56kb/s but if the modem only allows the 33kb/s that is the speed it will use. Try changing your modem

    try people pc I had it a few years back and it was pretty good
