Why does my computer prevent other computers on my LAN from accessing the Internet?

I have dialup. Originally my other computers could access the Net, but something -?- happened, and now only the computer with the modem can surf or collect email. The Network Setup Wizard doesn’t help.

  1. I’ve experienced this problem many times, and despite having so much experience with it, I still don’t know what causes it.
Although I now have it working, I only managed it by formatting the hard drive of one of the computers and re-installing everything. Short of that, I’m not sure what you can do =/

  3. What is the IP address of the computers and the ones connected? Can they ping your computer? Can they resolve hostnames?
