The reason that you might be having problems, is there could be things in your enviroment that is slowing your dsl down: like electrical wiring, or copper, and the type of cordless phone you have, could be if you have concret walls, also how far away you are from the crossbox, depending on how far you are from that depends on how good your signal is going to be, it could also be how old your laptop is. The older the laptop the more uncapable it is going to be to get a good signal and the slower it is going to run. The problem with it running slow could be if you have spyware on your computer that will really mess things up. So uninstall that and put Norton on. Could also be if you have alot of things that are downloaded, for instance, get rid of anything that you dont use like games, or other programs, you can get rid of those by control panel, add/remove programs, then start uninstalling. Could be how many programs you have open on you task bar.
