im connected to the internet wirelessly and am getting a decent connection but when i mouse over the icon its saying 1mbps and no signal all the time. from my distance from my router it used to say 10mbps and low signal a week ago but something happened and i had to reset my router and set it up differently. used to have my router connected thru a hub and that thru another non wireless router, something happened and i had to do modem-my wireless router-hub. my conection seems ok but i cant download anything or view gifs(take to long to dl). its like being back on dialup. whats going on? the 2 comps connected to the router are turned off also.
Remove the non wireless router and put a switch or hub in its place. Your delays or non connection to the internet could be caused by the 2 routers not passing DNS information correctly. I hope this helps.
