We have a high speed connection, ADSL broadband with ethernet, it has been working great until now, its worse than dialup speed. when i try to download something it starts off at 35 KB/sec then slowly goes down to 3.5 KB/sec…why does this happen? the downloads that took 1 minute before takes 40-50 mins now.

I am using an ADSL line to access internet via ADSL router. I also have to use a dialup connection for secure corporate email download. Th email download facility is not yet available via broadband connection as company policy. However as I use the dialup connection my ADSL line gets disabled and remain disabled even after dialup disconnection. I need to re-logon everytime. Is there any other way for resetting ADSL connection?

I would like to use the bandwidth of my dialup as well as my ADSL connection simultaneousyl. Is there any way of tying together data streams from these two different services (and therefore to my two different IP addresses?). I would be happy if a load-sharing kind of arrangement is possible somehow
Thanks in advance!
Any ideas how I can use Multilink PPP to tie together the two connections? If done at the OS level, the data streams should be transparent – or would a load-sharing setup be better? I just want to be able to use both bandwidths – I pay flat rate for both, but can presently use only one at any given time?
