I go to messenger, then click onto yahoo chat, then join a room. Problem is after the “enter room” is clicked it takes quite a while. Then a smaller box pops up saying it took longer to sign into chat, Please try again. (or words to that affect). Why does this ALWAYS HAPPEN? Thank you in advance. Unfortunately, I’ve got dialup. DSL is NOT available in my area.
I can’t get connected to the yahoo messenger i have tride every thing. I look down at the internet connection box and it has dialup in it and i have broadband and i can’t get it open to change it from dial up. can any one out there help me?

I unknowningly downloaded an internet dialup software that takes over my modem and dialed out to 1-900 and racked up my phone bill. Does anyone know if the software uses the dialogue box to dial out or does it bypass it altogether? I know that I can prevent it by unplugging my phone line but it sure is a pain to do this all the time.
a prompt comes up that tells me i am not connected to the internet and need to dial up. it wants me to choose “connect” or “work off line”. when i close the box it automatically puts me to work offline and then i have to go to ‘file’ to change it over… then i usually get the message again and do the same song and dance two or three times before i get connected with internet explorer and can browse without the prompt! help! it has to be an easy fix!

I want to access internet through LAN at office and through my mobile when on the move. I have set up mob tobe used as a modem and there is no problem when I use this connection,but at office the IE opens up the connection dailouge box showing only mob connection. This happens erratically. Sometimes i just close the dialougue box and i am connected through LAN, at other times the IE just hangs. I am using IE 7(Beta). Could you help?
