I receive internet service via dialup. Is there a way I can access video with such a connection? On websites such as YouTube I log on to a still picture that starts the video, but after a second or two of “action” the movement stops. Does this mean I need a broadband connection for any and all video?
Help wanted from those who understand these matters far better than I. Thanks.

I’m trying to connect my Xbox 360 to my PC through my internal Network card, by bridging the connections, however I cannot bridge the two as my broadband connection is listed under “dial-up” in Windows Networking. My modem is an external Speedtouch 330 USB ADSL. Please help!

Here is the situation. I live a mile from a major U.S. highway, yet I cannot get a Broadband connection. Yes it is kind of in the country, but should that actually matter? We deal with Verizon, whom does our dialup connection, but it is terrible at best. Verizon does not offer DSL for our location. Hughes net is too expensive, so that is not the answer. Am I stuck with dialup until I move? What is the best way to deal with this problem? If Verizon can’t service us, does that mean other phone companies cannot?
