I assume that a wireless connection will download alot faster than dialup, but how much more fasster than dialup? I know regular cable/dsl is alot fasster than dialup but what if I access my dsl wirelessly how much slower will it be than accessing the dsl directly?

I had broadband internet and i hooked a router from my computer to my wifes computer so we could share the internet, It worked fine. Now we have dialup internet. I have a Linksys, Cable/DSL 4-port switch Router. can i use this the same for dialup the same way i did for cable?. If so How would i hook it up? Thank you!
Just moved to a place where no Cable, DSL, or ISDN is available. Had a HughesNet satellite internet rep come out today who told us satallite is unavailable because our trees block the signal. The trees blocking the signal are illegal to cut down in our state and will result in jail time. Stuck with horrid dial up. Is there ANY faster alternative??
