I live in a rural area and cannot get DSL or cable internet. My modem has gone out on my computer and I want to go ahead and add something faster than dial up. I have AT&T cell phone service so I am thinking about going with them…..

I cannot connect to the internet because of error 815. What is the correct value for this field?
Error 815. The broadband netwrok connection could not be established on your computer because the remote server is not responding. Please contact your internet service provider and inquire about the correct value for this field and update it in the connection prioperties.

After recently updating Windows, how do I now go about getting my Internet Explorer to work again?
The recent Windows security update I completed for my Windows 98 operating system has left Internet Explorer corrupted in that it now only displays the message, “The page cannot be displayed” Before this update, Internet Explorer was working fine. I am using dial-up Internet service.
Internet providers (wireless) that are “nationwide” so to say… ?
I live in the country and cannot get internet access at my house other then a dial up connection that 9 times out of 10 fails… I know some cell phone companies and what not carry a wireless internet of some sort.. anybody know what I’m referring to or where I can get something that would work in the middle of nowhere? (cell phones work there so it’s not a complete dead area)

I cannot seem to get kazaa or limewire to work i download a song and it searches or says connecting?
I HAVE A DELL WITH ALL THE BELLS, HIGH SPEED CABLE, AND I STILL CAN’T GET KAZAA OR LIMEWIRE TO WORK PROPERLY, IT DOWNLOADS THE PROGRAM BUT WHEN I DOWNLOAD A SONG IT TELLS ME ITS SEARCHING OR IT STARTS AND THEN STOPS. MY FRIEND HAS DIAL UP AND HAS NO PROBLEMS.
