I live approx. 3 miles from the “edge”…to me, if cell phones work “everywhere” why can’t an aircard do the same? I cannot download music, watch videos, or even news clips because I am “on the edge”. This does not make sence to me. Basically, I pay 3 times, than most people, for a service that is no better than dialup. Please help me understand. OR better yet, tell me what I need to do to correct this. FYI, I have a brand new Toshiba laptop, with the Vista program.

Using a wireless laptop connect card… via a pci slot in my desktop… I now have internet access speeds about 5 times faster than dialup….not great but acceptable……would like to share this access with another computer, in my home, via wireless or by cable…. …. any ideas? note: I have NO other options for highspeed access! Both computers run Win2000………..

I have a RAZR V3 with Cingular service. I have Motorola mobile phone tools and that is working fine. But, if I try to connect to my ISP via dialup (with the windows dialer) through my V3 I get an error 678 (remote computer did not respond). If I dial the number manually on my phone then I can hear the remote computer picking up but since I dialed it I can’t connect to the internet.
Any suggestions?
