I’am trying to make a dialup conn. on my vista windows but i dont know how, please provide me with the whole details or direction.
I’m trying to add a DNS on my conn on the vista ,

Can’t connect thru firewall, can’t change setting for conn. type?
I can’t connect to YM, and when I look at the connection settings dialog, it looks like it thinks I have dialup. I don’t, I have DSL. It is greyed out though, so I can’t change it. Changing to different options such as firewall with no proxies hasn’t changed anything yet. How can I connect?
I can’t figure out how to reply to that first answer, so I’ll do it here – I’m connected to the internet. I am currently using IE browser to get to Yahoo Answers to ask this – YIM still is not connected.
can i access internet from one of the other workstation in the LAN?
actually we have dial up conn in a workstation in our LAN.Is there any chance to access the internet from that workstation?.For your information we dont have DSL conn,only Dialup.Plz solve my pbm.

hi, as u guide me, i got the cross over cable and connected & now my 2 pc’s are in LAN, i can share files between them. among 1 pc i have installed modem and i can browse internet, i want to access internet from the other pc, so what configuration should i give in internet server(modem has installed) and client(access internet through LAN? Give the steps to configure both the machine so that along sharing files i can share internet also,
