I live in a rural area and don’t have a ton of money so I’m stuck with dial up. The best connection I get is 26400 whatever. I use aol as isp for now. Which works better under these circumstances Firefox or Ie?

Does anyone know of any programs that will speed my dialup connection up to 15 times? (Something that is free)
It’s a dell dimension 2400, and after setting up the Microsoft Home networking, it started disconnecting internet sessions and asking to reconnect using the dialup connection

My father-in-law uses Outlook on a dialup connection. If he writes a new messages while being offline, Outlook places the message in the outbox. When he goes online he has to empty the outbox manually (right-clicking on each mail and choosing send).
Is it not possible to configure Outlook so that it automatically sends all mails in the outbox when the computer goes online?
I bought a Dell laptop with a internal wireless card in it. Can I use this at home with a router connected to dialup, or through my home pc running dialup? Is a wireless router only good on dsl, cable, or sat connection. Will I be able to pick up a wifi connection at certain airports, libraries, etc? Will the laptop pickup these connection automatically when in these areas. Thank you for the responses.
