how to network 2 dialup modems?
basicly my want is i have a dreamcast with a dialup modem i want to plug that into my modem on my main pc which i can then bridge with my LAN to give the dreamcast a internet conection with out costing dial up fees, how would i go about doing this? is there a program i can use to emulate a dial tone on my computer?
A netowkring adaptor was made for the dreamcast how ever they cost £100 + as not very many were made im looking for a cheaper way tonetwork my internet and dreamcast

Can Connect two PC’s directly, without using phone line?
I’ve a desktop and a laptop, both with dialup modems. Now, i want to connect both by directly connecting by phone wire not by using active phone line. I know that a 12V charge runs on active phone wire which actually causes communication, so if a wire is directly connected b/w 2 pc’s, so no charge , so no communication. But! can things be done by running charge over the wire making it to act like phone wire?
