Ok, I have this stupid internet access company (EXCEL NET), and they only have a 4GB download limit every month, we usually go through that in a matter of days, and are then reduced down to dial up speed again. Now I want to download the flash games off the internet (like from addictinggames.com) and save them on my computer. (I have 2 macs, 1 intel, and one PPC) Is there a way I can do this to save my bandwidth? And if I do download them, how do I play them on my computer?

Sup, i was just wondering what the best isp (internet service provider) was. I’m looking for Wifi and high speed. I occasionally use xbox live, and i download large files, like torrents. I dont really use my desktop because i have a laptop. I live in a 3-story house, i would like for the wifi to be available anywhere in my house. Do I have to purchase a wireless router if I don’t have wireless access at home? I really want to download old games but all I have is a DSL wired modem. If I do have to get a wireless router, is it bad to go for the cheapest one or do I really need to look for a high quality one? HELP PLEASE!!

I’m having problems with my email recently–both Yahoo & Excite. For roughly a month now, I can’t download anything larger than 500k…smaller files download fine…using basic dial-up service. I can’t forward to my other email accounts successfully either. As an experiment, I went to the local library and used their high-speed connection and things worked fine. Therefore, I believe the problem lies in the dial-up speed. Why is this suddenly an issue? Is it Explorer, Microsoft or something else??
I can view the thumbnail & see a file size for the attachment (say 1.0MB), I can click on the ‘download & save’ option. The system spins forever and I finally get the option to view or save. Either way, I get a blank window (no image) that pops up. The file saved to the hard drive is 0k. What the bleep is going on?!?
I’ve disabled firewalls, allowed html, etc. and nothing I’ve tried at home is working. Someone help PLEASE! Changing to a high-speed connection is NOT an option.
