I have an emachine, running ME. I was getting a 630 error message so I got a new internal dialup modem. I am no longer getting the errror message, but I still can’t use the internet. I have a manual connection that says it connects, but I can’t open an browser windows. When I use my MSN connection, the little computers in the task bar come up, but when it tries to sign in it says it can’t find a connection to the internet. What’s wrong???

when i send report to microsoft they say unable to find or fix problem
using win2000 with att dialup
When I startup my Windows Xp> then connect to dialup internet>>
and then i open my home page which my Yahoo Mail page
i keep getting a Offine error everytime when i connect to internet
Why is that? Please help me specifically

windows could not detect my modem so i bought a new one and installed it now when u hit connect u can hear it dial the number but don’t get those popping and pinging that you should when useing dialup i get an error message that says the computer you dialed did not answer! i know the phone lines are good and also the number is correct if anyone can help pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee let me know

I just recently uninstalled wireless service from my computer and switched to dialup. When I shut down my computer and restart, I keep getting an error message that my modem could not be found or is busy. I usually have to go to the control panel and click on "phones & modem" and prompt windows to accept the phone company’s telephone number, turn off the computer and re-start. A connection then will be allowed. Can anyone help me solve this problem?
