I have Windows XP, and I’m trying to get my wireless internet work. I don’t have a ISP, but I pick up a signal and am able to connect to it. I’ve connected to the same connection before, and my internet work perfect and fast. Now, today, for some reason my internet explorer doesn’t work with it. I just used it last night!!! I double-clicked internet explorer, and now it says i dont have a internet connection. but i am still connected to the wireless network, but i cant connect online. i am using a dial up service for right now. i want my wireless to work again. i have my dial up connection as my default connection (for now). please someone help me. ive already tried to “setup a wireless connection” and that didnt work.
The wireless connection i connect to is NOT secured

Why does my Microsoft Internet Explorer keep telling me “Page not found”?

I just installed Verizon DSL.Had Earthlink dial-up before.
DSL works fine but the error page keeps popping up on the page I’m looking at,or beside it or behind it.
I may not have shut down all programs before install.
Please Help

After recently updating Windows, how do I now go about getting my Internet Explorer to work again?

The recent Windows security update I completed for my Windows 98 operating system has left Internet Explorer corrupted in that it now only displays the message, “The page cannot be displayed” Before this update, Internet Explorer was working fine. I am using dial-up Internet service.

how do i delete internet explorer provide by bellsouth dial internet service, because i already have yahoo.?

everytime i disconnect from yahoo the connect screen pops up to connect, which it is the internet explorer provided by bellsouth dial internet service, it’s like there are 2 connection. But i would like to know how to delete the second one.

Why has my Microsoft Internet Explorer (browser) suddenly slowed to a crawl despite virus and ad removers?

I use NOD32 for virus protection — it runs constantly — and a commercial version of Adware to kill popups and to stop tracking of cookies. I show no suspicious activity out of the ordinary range. I have a powerful computer.
Does my slowdown lie with Microsoft software and its browser [Internet Explorer], or should I simply reintall the Internet Explorer? I tried using a different web browser (Mozilla) but had other weird problems with that.
My ISP recently switched to me to AT&T-Yahoo, against my wishes, while I was abroad.
Could that have slowed me down?
Should I get a different provider?
I am at a level of dial-up modem speed despite paying for broadband service!
Thanks for any help you might give.
I am tired of paying a consultant for every bit of advice.
