in other words i travel out of state and my relatives do not have internet so i hook up my computer and change the phone numbers so they are local and were good to go but can i do the same with DSL or Broadband. There are no numbers to change so how do i know if its local so as to be sure no long distance will be charged with DSL, and is it possible to hook up my DSL modem and such on another number when DSL seems to be based on my home phone..
Do I just hook the phone line into the router and use my ethernet cables to hook up to each of my pc’s or do I need some kind of special adapter or something? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
I used to hear music from Korean Broadcasting when I hook up to AOL dialup. Now I switched to AT&T Yahoo DSL, I got this message: The file you are attempting to play has an extension (.wma) that do esnot match file format. I don’t get this message when I’m with AOL and it work fine then. The DSL suppososed to be faster than dial-up and I can hear now.
I have a windows 98 hp and it came with an ether card. recently i was using it with dialup then i got highspeed cable internet so i purchased a highspeed hook up cord and it says when i click on internet explorer that the page can not be displayed.
