Error 815. The broadband netwrok connection could not be established on your computer because the remote server is not responding. Please contact your internet service provider and inquire about the correct value for this field and update it in the connection prioperties.

I am moving out on my own. I need to get an inexpensive, yet reliable internet service for my online classes. I do not want dial-up, just DSL. Who do you go through and are they reliable? Have you had an experience with others that you thought had horrible service and reliability? Anything will help, Thanks!!!

Sup, i was just wondering what the best isp (internet service provider) was. I’m looking for Wifi and high speed. I occasionally use xbox live, and i download large files, like torrents. I dont really use my desktop because i have a laptop. I live in a 3-story house, i would like for the wifi to be available anywhere in my house. Finally I would like to know what is better dial-up satellite or cable, Thanks

My desktop is having an internet connection problem. I have dial up and i’m trying to sign on to the internet through netscape. When i try to sign on it says that it is connected, but nothing else happens. the toolbar doesn’t show up and it won’t allow me to get online. I noticed that there was an x in the corner of my computer saying that the local area connection was not connected, something about the network cable being unplugged. the thing is that i tried using the same internet service provider and cable for my laptop and it works perfectly. so i think it has something to do with my the hardware on my computer not being able to connect…I need help…someone please enlighten me!!!!!!!!!!1

I have a Toshiba Satellite notebook and as you know it’s wireless. I am trying to use incredimail but whatever I enter as incomming mail server(POP3) and outgoing mail server,which has to be the same, does not work. I can’t figure this crap out. Any suggestions? I’ll take em all. THANX
Yeah I use Yahoo! beta mail. so now what? I entered” yahoo.com” is that the wrong wording?
Cuz yahoo.com doesnt seem to work.
