I made this video since someone requested that I make a video Tutorial of setting up wireless dial-up Internet with the iPod Touch. This also works on the iPhone since the iPhone is basicaly the same as the iPod Touch, but with cell phone capabilites. my stepson wants an ipod video player for graduation from 8th grade. (He really doesnt deserve to graduate since he failed at least 2 finals and never studies – but school may let him graduate anyway).
Should he still get one?
We dont like him using the internet, and we dont have high speed at home – only dialup. He claims there are alternantive ways to install songs and videos – such as from friends.
He is easily influenced by what he sees and hears so i dont think any video is a good idea for him even without internet.
Even an ipod without video may be a better alternative.
Would you still buy it if you were his parent?

If you buy a ipod video from bestbuy will they let you use thier internet to download songs if you have dialup
i just got a new ipod nano. itunes has to be downloaded, but i have dialup and it says it will tak 4 hours and 45 minutes. are there any ways that i can make the downloading faster?
