inbuilt 33600 bps modem i connect internet through this but my family disallow to surf as much i want so du u know any tricks or process so that i can use internet nd others will pay the bill for it i know iam asking bad but pls help
Inconsistent download speed with Flashget! Dialup.?
I’m trying to download a simple 1.9 MB file and its taking too long. LOL. Even for a dial up it should be faster. I see a speed between 2.9 to 4.9, sometimes 5.something, yet the actual counter displays slower. And by slower it shows like 1.6 or lower. Ugh *exasperated* Do I need to set something in the options menu to help download faster or what? My internet connection is at 26.4 Kb/s. Dont laugh. If you can help me I’d appreaciate it.

How to run Windows apps on Linux?
How do i run windows files on my linux? Im on dialup so im not really lookin to download a huge freakin file lol 
I know its possible, i have done a research and i know people who run win on linux, never had a chance to ask because i was never interested untill now.
A “frustration borne from dialup” based query………?
I looked at the back of my DirecTV satellite receiver, and I noticed that it has a USB connection. Hackers/Computer professionals, why is it that I cannot connect my computer to my satellite and have a DSL? I may be an idiot for asking, and I accept that in advance lol, because I have a feeling that it isn’t quite as easy as my small brain thinks it is. My frustration comes from the “molasses in January” style dialup connection that I am forced to still have, and also because I have very little hair left to pull out….Thanks so much for your help, friends.
Thanks to you guys for being intelligent and ALSO gentle with my fragile “hamster-running-on-wheel” brain. I figured it was too good to be true, and guess what? It was, lol. Every time I connect at 42.6 at want to scream “YEEEARRRGHHH!!!”
