The Games in question: Combat Flight simulator 2 & Crimson Skies..
My friend & I would network back when we had dialup, we have moved on to newer games. We now have DSL and found our old games this year . But we can’t network, I can’t see his IP & he can’t see mine. These are the only old games we have a problems with. Is it the games or do we need to do some Port forwarding / Static IP stuff ?? Can any one shed some light???
Thanks <> Pat

yahoo IM keeps dropping me after five minutes or so. I am running windows xp on mozilla firefox. My dialup connection reports 46.4 bps for connection speed. all popup blockers are turned off, there are no proxies to contend with. a microsoft firewall is the only thing connected. java is enables and security is to accept all cookies.

It says for my updates that it will take 24min’s to download due to I have dialup (oh well).
My question is: when it downloads and runs quietly the next time i turn on the comp, does it actually take up memory from my comp or what ? Can I uninstall it later on from my Add/remove programs?
Note: I mean downloading from Microsoft update !
I do not want to use Yahoo Browser. I want Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 to be my home page and to be my browser. I have SBC dialup services for internet connection. I want Internet Explorer to connect to the internet using the Sbc dialup number I have selected.
