What you need to know to get started creating and building websites. To create or build anything from a symple to a dynamic website you only need to know HTML, JavaScript, and a server side scripting language. Website development is easy if you learn how websites are developed using a internet service provider, domain name, host and html or javascript. Scripting languages can be used to develop dynamic websites using .asp, asp.net, .php, java, rubi, python on windows – iis or linux – apache servers. A database like mysql, sql server, oracle, microsoft office excel file, microsoft access file, or .xml file can be used. Any odbc compliant data source.

wireless internet?

I just bought a Dell 1501.I just received it today.I have it set up for dialup with people pc.I need to know what I need for wireless dsl or broadband internet service.I have my computer all set up for wireless I thought.when I startd my computer it said wireless network connection is not available.With my computer I have 6 months of AOL broadband for free.What equipment do i need for wireless internet service and what or how do i set up dsl or broadband internet service.

What should I be sure I do to upgrade to high speed internet?

My son wants me to upgrade to high-speed internet so he can download music faster to his ipod. I am concerned about what I need in terms of firewalls and spyware blockers and anti-virus and computer hackers. I am running Webroot’s Spysweeper with anti-virus and SystemSuite’s Netdefense firewall on my dialup connection right now. Should I consider better programs than these?

He also wants to have a wireless LAN in the house. How do I prevent someone from tapping in to that?

We are considering BellSouth’s DSL because I can combine my cell, home phone and dialup accounts for about the same money and still get this high-speed connection. I just need to purchase the necessary hardware and software protection. By the way, BellSouth offers a firewall at $10/month. Would that be better advised than buying some third-party firewall such as Norton?

Why is all this stuff so complicated?
