can i buy a cellphone without my parents?

i want to get a prepaid cellphone. the phone is under guard. if i ask the guy if i could prursase it will he ask me that i need a parent? i don’t want them to know. they took away my freedom of text messaging and internet surfing. my parents bought my first phone it was prepaid. i surfed the internet and text messaged. then they got me a real phone. they blocked everything. my prepaid cellphone is recycled. i am wondering if i can get the phone without my parents? the phone is under guard. you can find it at target. its a kyocera switch_back. its really nice and it only cost $99. i asked my parents if i could get it and they said why do i want 2? i told then what they did and they said , when your older you can get your own contract and get whatever you want. so as i was telling you its under guard. i will have to ask someone that works there to take it out. will they ask me if i need a parent? i’m 12. my parents will say no. can i buy it without my parents? i do have the money. thanks

Is there such a thing as as-needed DSL?

My sister visits my parents every couple months and wants Internet access at the house, but it has to be high-speed (at least basic DSL). Is there a really cheap decent quality DSL ISP, or an as-needed DSL-type account? (sort of like dial-up, so you get say twenty hours of DSL for ten bucks a month?) I thought NetZero had the answer with their 12.95/month 768k/DSL, but the price goes up to 22.95 after three months. Thanks

Best Internet Service for Rural Residents?

I live in a rural area and we’ve (my parents house) always had dial-up. We have direct tv for years and I saw that some satellites company have internet services. I would like to have speeds as close as 3.0. I heard there’s also a cell phone that allows you to access the web using your laptop. I would like something that allows everyone to get online whether it’s by laptop or desktop computer. CLOSE TO 3.0 speeds!
my whole family is with Verizon wireless (originally w/ Alltel)

As an American spending the summer in Norway, what’s the cheapest way to call my parents?

I will have wireless in my dorm, but my parents have dial up.

I would prefer some kind of internet phone service. But if there’s something better I’d use it.

I have an international cell phone that I could put a Norwegian sim card in.
