After recently updating Windows, how do I now go about getting my Internet Explorer to work again?

The recent Windows security update I completed for my Windows 98 operating system has left Internet Explorer corrupted in that it now only displays the message, “The page cannot be displayed” Before this update, Internet Explorer was working fine. I am using dial-up Internet service.

Last Few Days have been Hell… DSl connection slower that DialUp?

Ok, I have loaded (one at a time) Ad-Aware, AVG, Yahoo Security, and the Full trial version of Zone Alert… ran a scan & clean with each… dumped them all and have loaded just Zone Alert Firewall… And my internet pages are sill taking from 5 min to around an hour to load. What the heck can I do now…other that going to my old PC and ordering Dial up for it??? Help!
