I HAVE A DELL WITH ALL THE BELLS, HIGH SPEED CABLE, AND I STILL CAN’T GET KAZAA OR LIMEWIRE TO WORK PROPERLY, IT DOWNLOADS THE PROGRAM BUT WHEN I DOWNLOAD A SONG IT TELLS ME ITS SEARCHING OR IT STARTS AND THEN STOPS. MY FRIEND HAS DIAL UP AND HAS NO PROBLEMS.
This entire song is composed only of segments from the classic dial-up internet noise. If you don’t remember the dial-up internet noise, you truly missed out on something beautiful. Enjoy.
I put it on my page before it got done-since I have dialup and it got to be bedtime. Now, when I try to play it, no matter what I do, it only goes to where I quit downloading and then stops. I tried to get it off to start over again, but can’t even get it to remove from my page. I want the WHOLE song, not just part of it. 
It takes about 30 minutes to download a song using dialup… how long would it take to using this DSL?
I am thinking of buying a MP3 player, but I know nothing about them. How long will it take to download a song from Napster if you have a dialup connection? Do you download to your computer first or directly to the player? If you want to transfer from a cd to your MP3 – how does that work and how long does it take? Thanks for your help.
