i know you need two modems or more but i was wondering if you will need two phone lines from internet service provider or if u use a two way splitter, to the wall jack/plug in your house(meaning two separate phone cords from modems to the two way splitter which would be connected to the wall jack/plug or two lines connected to the house from outsidewhich is connected to the telephone box/pole

Iwant to use the internet with my laptop so I need to know if I can put a splitter on my computer for the phone line and use it that way for my lap top
